Free Memberships Available for Armed Services Family
THE YMCA OF PHILADELPHIA & VICINITY OFFERS FREE MEMBERSHIPS TO ARMED SERVICES FAMILY MEMBERS

The YMCA of Philadelphia & Vicinity is proud to support our area men and women who are actively serving in the United States military. To show these service men and women how much their sacrifices and the sacrifices of their family members mean to us, we’d like to remind everyone that immediate family members of active deployed duty military service members are eligible for free memberships at all ten branches of the YMCA of Philadelphia & Vicinity. The membership is valid for six months with proof of active and deployed military status.
The military membership is fully funded by the Strong Kids annual support campaign. The Strong Kids Campaign enables the YMCA of Philadelphia & Vicinity to fully realize its mission “to translate the principles of the YMCA’s Christian heritage into programs that nurture children, strengthen families, build strong communities, and develop healthy spirits, minds and bodies for all.” Affordability is essential to making the YMCA financially accessible. The Strong Kids Campaign generates funds to subsidize costs for people who otherwise could not afford to pay full price for YMCA programs and services, such as quality childcare and day camp.
